Blacksmith Musket Ball Mold

From the Revolutionary War era- the Blacksmiths played a key important part of the revolution. They were the heart of the military, and were constantly commissioned to make and mold artillery for the military.

This mold was for the Blackpowder .60 caliber musket balls, and is in excellent condition, as most blacksmith-made artifacts are of the day.

Crafted with precision design almost 300 years ago, it's a marvel what they were able to do with 18th century technology.

Muskets were the primary weapon of the military. various Soldiers also carried knives, swords, flintlock pistols, canteens, and more.
